The first three years of life are filled with incredible growth and discovery. From a baby's first smile to a toddler's first words and steps, children are constantly learning new skills.
But sometimes children need a little extra help along the way.
Early Intervention provides free developmental services to eligible children from birth to age three who have a developmental delay or disability. Services are designed around each child's individual needs and are provided in familiar environments such as the home, daycare, or community.
At Early Bird Therapy, we believe the best learning happens through everyday experiences, meaningful relationships, and play. Our therapists partner with parents and caregivers to help children develop skills that carry over into daily life.
Every child develops at their own pace. We're here to help them take their next step.
Where does the Therapy Happen?
Homes, daycares, and community environments when appropriate. Early Intervention occurs in “natural environments. Typically, this means in the family’s home. We go to meet the child where they typically are.
What does the Therapy Look Like?
Playing, eating, getting dressed, exploring, communicating, and moving. Yes, that’s right! Our therapy is integrated into real life family routines.
Who Benefits from Early Intervention?
Children with developmental delays, disabilities, or qualifying diagnoses. The Early Intervention program completes an evaluation to determine any delays in child development.
